Meeting Pages
It's a good idea to create a web page for a meeting to keep track of what was discussed and decided during the meeting.
Here are some guidelines on creating the page to keep track of the meeting:
- Make sure there is a page for the group having the meeting. It should covers definition of the group and a general description of activities. Also includes a list of meetings.
- For the meeting create a page link in the list for a page named something like
<group name><YYYYMMDD>
(where YYYY is the year, MM is the number of the month, and DD is the day of the month)
example: ChurchCouncilMetting20040823
- On this page include a section called "Agenda" with a bullet list of items to cover
- When the meeting is over, create a "Minutes" section on the page
- Clearly list action items from the meeting and who is responsible for following up on them
- Clearly list decisions made during the meeting
