Page Scope Statement

This page should describe how people can get involved in the Church with a focus on engaging new members and possibly reinvigorating the involvement of long standing members.

How is this different than the activities element of the Side Bar? Well there may be some overlap, but the idea here is to provide words of encouragement and give an overview of how to participate in Church life beyond Sunday service.

There are lots of opportunities to become active in the church. If you are looking for ways to participate more fully in the life of the Church this is a great place to start. The following sections list all sorts of things you can do, and links to more information if you are interested.

Helping Others

ACAT
A group of Christians working to abolish torture. Write letters to defend the defenceless around the world. Contact Alison Coulavin.
Banque Alimentaire
One day a year all over France food is collected to fight hunger. Members of St. Marc's man the entrance of local supermarkets to encourage people to give and to collect what is offered. In 2004 the day is November 27th, so don't hesitate to contact Sara Paul to help.
