As the new school year starts, so does our new Sunday School Year. We have lots of new activities planned this year and are excited to start sharing the gospel with the children.

The groups are broken-down by age and by school year as follows: We have Sunday school groups for our 3-11 year olds, and youth groups for our 11-14's and 15-18's. For information about the youth group, click here: [Youth Group]

Sunday School Classes

3 to 5 years old (maternelle)
5 to 7 years old (CP/ CE1/ CE2)
8 to 11 years old (CM1/ CM2)

The teachers for each age group are: 3 to 5’s: Lara Confort, Keeley Piech and Graham Naylor

5 to 7’s: Rebecca Anderson, SarahAponte-Olivieri, Marian Coffin and Lynn Vannette

8 to 11’s: David Bailey, Victoria Ogbata and Rajindri Perera

The Syllabus

At St. Marc’s we follow the teaching material from Scripture Union published in England. They have a website, if you would like more information about their formats, please feel free to visit them at http://www.scriptureunion.org.uk/light.

For the month of September, all the children will be following the age-appropriate material to learn about “God’s Big Story” and the weeks are broken down as follows:

September 5th	Celebrating God’s Creation (Psalm 104)
September 12th	Losing the Plot: God’s plan was to send his Son into the world and we can say “yes” to him (Mark 12:1-12)
September 19th	Facing the Music: God loves us and will forgive us (Luke 15:11-32)
September 26th	The Grand Finale: God has prepared a wonderful place in heaven for us (Luke 14: 15-24 and Revelation 21:1-22:5)
