Our Church will be joining in a 40 Days of Purpose campaign during Lent 2006, the period leading up to Easter.

What on earth are we here for? Isn't this the most important question of all? We will be looking at the bible's answer to this question through our special campaign.

The programme is based on the best selling book by Rick Warren, "The Purpose Driven Life", of which 20 million copies have been sold.
It comes in three parts:

  • The challenge to read the book, one chapter per day, at home. Subsidised price copies are available from our Church.
  • Weekly talks at our 10h45 Sunday services from 5th March onwards, based on the major themes of the books.
  • Meetings in groups to discuss the book and the issues it raises.

Please contact our Chaplain if you would like a copy of the book, or if you would like to know more.

We do encourage you to join a group for discussion. Currently groups are planning to meet, starting from Sunday 5th March as follows:

  • Sundays at 9h30 at St Marc's Ecumenical Centre (before the Sunday services)
  • Wednesdays at 12h15 to 13h30, over lunch at the Chaplain's apartment, near the church, 14 rue Gerard Philipe
  • Wednesdays at 19h30 in Meylan at the home of the Vessa family
  • Friday evenings at 7bis Rue Parmentier in the city, home of the Lewis family

Please ask Stephen, our Chaplain, for directions or more information.
