This women’s group meets once a fortnight on Thursday mornings at the home of Sarah Paul in Chirens, up in the hills above the cathedral town of Voiron. Existing members come from as far apart as St. Egreve and Les Abrets, to study and discuss the Bible, in a spirit of openness and mutual tolerance, following published bible study courses which are selected to be as diverse as possible, often intellectually challenging, but at the same time applicable to our own lives. Meeting together as a small group in the intimacy of a home, bonds are created which deepen and support our exploration of the message that Christianity brings. In a church whose members are so far-flung geographically, area-based groups such as this play a vital part in fellowship. We open our hearts and minds to those who would like to join our group.

As the new school year starts, we are continuing to work our way through the gospel of St. Mark, which like all books of the Bible can bring some inspirational revelations.
