St Marc’s is blessed in having members from all over the world ! We welcome all English speakers (even if English is their second or even third language), wherever they may be in their journey in faith.

Is anyone thirsty ? Jesus said “Let them come to me and drink”.

  • Are you already a Christian and looking for a place to worship together with many other people from all over the world ?
  • Are you looking to grow in your faith with the help of other Christians ?
  • Or are you just wondering what the Christian faith is all about, and if there is anything in it for you ?

Wherever you stand, you are welcome at St Marc’s, and we hope you will find :

  • Fellowship and friendship :

    • A “family meal” is organised once a month, where we can get to know each other on an informal basis.
    • A student and “under 30’s” meal followed by a bible study is organised every Tuesday during the university year.
    • Many other social events are organised, such as games or dancing evenings, walks, picnics, visits to places of interest in and around Grenoble.
    • St Marc’s aims to be a real family in Christ.

  • Welcome and teaching for children :

    • “Let the children come to me”: At St Marc’s we welcome children , and want to help their parents bring them up in the Christian faith.
    • Sunday School is organised for different age groups. There is also a crèche for the under 4's

  • Sincere and joyful worship of the Lord :
    • Every Sunday we meet to worship: through music, prayer, bible readings and teaching. We have a small group of musicians and singers who lead the music every Sunday. We have a mixture of modern worship choruses and traditional hymns. Currently in addition to the pastor Stephen Coffin, 3 other preachers give the message in turn and members of the church give readings and prayers.

  • “In depth” teaching and sharing :
    • In addition to the services, there is a “Sunday school for adults” organised before the service, and several small groups which meet in people’s homes. These are aimed at studying the Bible, and sharing with others our joys and sorrows, worries, problems, and whatever is on our minds. We aim to use the Christian message to support each other in our everyday lives, and help each other along our journey.

Drop in one Sunday and meet us ! Stay for a drink at the end of the service ! Click on this link to read comments by former & present members about our Church. What I Appreciate About St Marcs
